A combined log book for recording both working time and drivers' daily defect checks. The book is A4 in size, has a page for each day and has a grid covering 24 hours in 15 minute blocks. The driver enters his day using the four modes (rest, drive, other work and periods of availability) by marking the box on the grid.
For days when the driver does not work he can indicate this by ticking a separate box.
